ReRe naked and more disturbing news..

serena1Serena will appear on the cover of ESPN’s “Body Issue”.

HER TOES!

yuck.

Anyway the more disturbing news is that with Coco out of Beijing already, it left a huge opening for Serena to pass her R2 opponent and win.

She did.

😦 Beating Makarova easily in straights. That’s all you need to know.

Meaning she gets the number one spot, which she kept whinging and whining about.Β  I must say to be fair she deserves it, Dina has been playing crap this whole Asian swing loosing in the first round in Tokyo and the second to a 266th ranked player.Β  Your loss Dina.

serena

The-funny-but-not-funny story about Serena is she is being considered getting a 2-slam suspension because of this US OPEN outburst here are my thoughts:

  • Serena should have been disqualified
  • Stripped of her prize money in Singles and Doubles
  • Fined which she was
  • Wrote a formal letter to the US OPEN, Lineswoman and the public (fans) to apologise)

Okay, i know it sounds harsh but really, it was a very violent and public outburst.Β  Players should never treat lines people that way. Get over it.

But getting the 2-slam suspension is going a bit too far, but seen as she didn’t even get punished (hardly) she probably should.

Withdrawal Symptoms UPDATED

murrayout

Andy Murray is out of the Japan Open because of a wrist injury…PFFT.Β  It is also said that Andy is *very* dissapointed. (If you haven’t guessed already i hate Murray) But, this is good for me because i think with all of these withdrawals Ernie gets in.

Federer also has withdrawn from Tokyo because of “Doctors Orders” it is still unknown as yet to why he is withdrawing.Β  Maybe he would rather have a coffee and watch it from home.

UPDATED: NISHIKORI (SHOULDER), HAAS(UNSPECIFIED), NIEMINEN(COLD), SEPPI(VIRAL INFECTION) HAVE ALSO WITHDRAWN FROM TOKYO.

Masha Love; Dedicated to Hermi_Freak :)

As i watched the live stream of the Masha/Kleybs match i was talking to this one girl on the free chat on the side and i was telling her about my tennis blog.Β  I sent her the link and she said, “Why no Masha love?” So, i agreed if she served out the match *5-2 I would make an article entitled Masha Love dedicated to Hermi_freak! πŸ™‚

mashalove9Masha played a solid match today after the first set where she regrouped to take the next two sets 6-2 6-2 πŸ™‚

mashalove7Her full service motion is back and it was there mostly all of the time. It came at crucial moments and did a number of aces.

kleybs

Nothing much going on in Kuala Lumpur only the fact that 8th seeded Aussie, Lleyton got ousted by comeback guy(its the latest thing) Joachim Johansson who hasn’t even played an ATP TOUR level match in over a year. And what does he do?Β  Beats him in straight sets, 6 and 3.

Over in Bangkok, the atp Sugi, Fabrice was ousted by Badass (to me) Korolev. It was just what he was wearing – OK?
