Where the boys at?

Nothing much going on in Kuala Lumpur only the fact that 8th seeded Aussie, Lleyton got ousted by comeback guy(its the latest thing) Joachim Johansson who hasn’t even played an ATP TOUR level match in over a year. And what does he do?  Beats him in straight sets, 6 and 3.

Over in Bangkok, the atp Sugi, Fabrice was ousted by Badass (to me) Korolev. It was just what he was wearing – OK?

He will play top seed, Jo Willy Tsonga, all the best!

US5That’s how long it took Rafa to demolish Gonzo in their rain interrupted match from Thursday.  They finally took to the court with the match at a 2nd set tiebreak.

Rafa won all of the points to go to a two set lead.  He went to a 2-0 lead before Fernando took a time out and got his ankle/foot strapped.

It didn’t help.

Gonzo lost the third set 6-0 and Rafa set up a semi final berth with Elf tomorrow.  Rafael was solid. Gonzalez was, crap.  So many unforced errors lost him the match. I guess he was going for too much.

Vamos Rafa…..

Can’t they give him a wildcard? It’s his first time playing the three god damn months!

😦  Richard Gasquet’s comeback was short lived when he fell in the second round of qualifying for the main draw at New Haven in three sets losing 7-6 (3), 4-6, 6-3.

His post match presser:

“It was a long time ago that I played, almost three months,” he said after his match. “It has changed my life. It’s hard to come back, but I am happy to be playing. Physically I was really tired, because I stopped playing and did not play for a couple months. But, I am glad to be back playing and practicing hard for the US Open. I just have to play matches and then I will be able to come back. I am happy playing tennis, with it I have fun, and I am happy to be here. My goal is to win one match at the US Open. I have had difficult months, but now it’s just to have fun.”

Awwe welcome back richie!

Adje is the new Vamos

Nole played like he wanted his #3 spot back and poor old rafa’s rickety knees got the better of him when Nole slashed Rafa 61 64.  Rafa couldn’t keep up with the falcon’s fast pace and brilliant execution..

Rafa was so thinking 'FML'

Floving his kit to blue and yellow suit! 🙂

So who will totally own the final?

Swiss bliss

Well, what a good day at the office it was for Roger, when he pushed his H2H against Murray closer to the new world number 2.  He showed who is boss and that no one is taking his number 1 spot ever! (Well not for a while anyway) Fed owned the first set and then Muzz got into the rhythm but was unable to take it any further

Andy Blows.

Anyway the final score was 6-2 7-6(8)

Ohh did i mention, im loving fed’s kit  🙂
